Keratin and its role for healthy and beautiful hair

The human hair is mainly made of keratin. Keratin is a fibrous protein and is a basic, indispensable building block of hair. The formation of keratin requires the regular intake of sulfur-containing amino acids, group B vitamins and minerals – mainly zinc and iron. However, in order for these essential elements of the hair to reach its bulb, it is necessary to have substances to “clear” the path there. Such a function has antioxidants, especially those of plant origin. In addition, substances that provide better microcirculation of blood in the scalp are needed.
